Joshua was born on September 2, 1995 to Brian Parsons and Sherry Zak Parsons in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 2014 and Waynesburg University in 2019 with a BS in nursing. While attending school, he was employed at Catnip Acres where he enjoyed caring for the animals.
Joshua was a very talented artist and musician. He loved Bob Dylan, playing his guitar, and wearing black. He was a selfless individual who will be remembered as a gentle giant.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his sister, Breanna Parsons; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Carolyn Zak; paternal grandmother, Susan Parsons; uncles, Peter Parsons and Steven Parsons; and numerous cousins.
Joshua was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Parsons.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370. A private burial will take place at a later date.
