David W. McGinnis

He was born March 25, 1963 in Fairfax, Virginia, a son of Samuel E. McGinnis and Judith Allen Adamson.

He was educated in the Central Greene School District.

Mr. McGinnis worked on pipeline construction with United Steel Workers Heavy Highway Division, most recently for Lineal Industries. He had also worked as a member of the Laborers Union Local 286.

He resided in Greene County since 1965 and was formerly a social member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Waynesburg.

Mr. McGinnis was a loving father and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing , and motorsports.

Surviving are his wife Lori Faddis McGinnis; his mother Judith Adamson of Waynesburg; his father Samuel E. McGinnis (Doris) of Sterling, VA,; his children, Shana Lea Puthuff of Waynesburg, Zachary David McGinnis of Mount Morris, and Chelsea Irene McGinnis at home; his granddaughter, Braelynn Nichole Ramsey; and his brother, Bill McGinnis and his companion, Liza Ziska of Irwin.

Deceased is his step-father Jack L. Adamson.

Friends will be received from 5 p. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2015 in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, where services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
