Sharon Irene (Stout) Ball

Sharon graduated from Waynesboro High School and attended Armstrong State College. She worked as a cook at the Staunton Moose Lodge and was a lifetime member of the Waynesboro First Aid Crew.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Ron Ball; daughters, Barbara Gump and husband, Michael, and Brittney Ball; siblings, Jeff Stout and wife, Diane, Mike Stout and wife, Patty, Cathy Krall and husband, John, and Nancy Linehan and husband, Steve; four grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Riverview Cemetery with Phil Forehand and David Ball officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s memory to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, 201 W Broad St, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
