Sandra Hoy

Sandra Lee Breeden Hoy, 81, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Augusta County to the late John E. and Hazel Loraine (Marrin) Breeden on November 12, 1942. Sandra was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and of Elizabeth Brant School of Business. She worked as an executive secretary for many years. Her smile will be missed by many. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Winston E. Hoy. Sandra is survived by her son, J. Travis Hoy (Terri) of Stuarts Draft; daughters, Valerie Hoy Armstrong (Mike) of Staunton, Robyne Hoy Ellis (Jim) of Georgia, and Toni Hoy Kiser (Danny) of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Stephanie Weisensale, Emily Weisensale, Jonathan Sandridge and Christopher Stump; and two great-granddaughters. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the funeral home.
