Roger Dale Hewitt, 77, of Love, VA, passed away on June 1, 2022 at Choice Healthcare of Waynesboro.
Mr. Hewitt was born on August 21, 1944 in Waynesboro and was a son of the late Guy and Ora Frances (Huffman) Hewitt. Roger graduated from Wilson Memorial High School and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Norval Dale Hewitt; sister Hettie Hewitt Armentrout; and a brother-in-law and a nephew.
Roger is survived by his nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on July 9, 2022 at Mountain Top Church Cemetery at Love, with Pastor Richard Peters officiating.
