Ramona Roxanne “Roxy” Cooper, 52, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday December 19, 2021 at Augusta Health.
Ms. Cooper was born on April 30, 1969 in Holland, Michigan and was a daughter of Charles and Evelena (Maggard) Cooper. She worked as an EMT-A for the Waynesboro First Aid Crew for many years. During Covid she worked for a Mortuary Transport Company transporting.
Roxy had a passion at a very early age for animals and has been known to rescue them, one of her odd rescues was a bat. Also at an early age she was gifted with the talent of art. She was an amazing painter, and sketcher. She attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Michigan. Her other passions and hobbies were reading and crocheting and knitting. She loved to cook and wasn’t afraid of trying new foods. She enjoyed MMA and Jujitsu and was so excited when she got her uniform. She was was a social butterfly and enjoyed being around others. She had a contagious laugh and a crazy sense of humor, she loved to make people laugh.
In addition to her parents, Roxy is survived by her brother, Terry Cooper of Holland, Michigan; a sister, Sherry Rose and husband Frank of West Olive, Michigan; nephews, Franklin Rose, III, Michael Cooper; and a niece, Tiffany Cooper. Also cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends
She was preceded in death by a niece, Sarah Nicole Rose-Lacy.
Graveside services are not scheduled at this time at Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland, MI. Her body was cremated.
