Nancy Jane Steele

Nancy Jane Steele, 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 6, 1943 in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Carl and Ocie (Duty) Mahon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford McKinley Steele. Survivors include a son, Mickey Steele and his wife, Heather of Waynesboro; brother, Larry Mahon; four grandchildren, Tyler Steele and wife Candace, Jonathan Steele, Nathaniel Steele and wife Meagan, Emma Steele; great grandson, Landon Steele and one to be born. Following cremation there will be no local services. Her cremains will be buried at Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon, Ohio at a late date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
