James Marcus Martin

Mark was born in Waynesboro to the late James David Martin Jr. and Margaret (Little) Martin on February 7th, 1963. Mark spent most of his adult life working as a mechanic for several golf courses in the surrounding area. When not working, Mark enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things and watching NASCAR. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. Mark also enjoyed spending time with his cats.

Mark is survived by his sons, David “Buck” Martin and his wife Kelly of Lovingston, and John Martin and girlfriend Kassee Thomas of Lovingston. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Harper, Gage and Ryder; as well as his Uncle Bud, his aunts, Sherry T and Bea; and his lifelong friend, Mark David Taylor. In addition, Mark is survived by his cousins, Matt and Michael Wayne Martin; and many other friends and family members.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Rockfish Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Blevins officiating.
