Beulah Bernell Trissel

Beulah Bernell Trissel, 74, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born April 29, 1948 in Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Ira William and Beulah Marie (Slagell) Switzer. She was a member of Springdale Mennonite Church and retired as a teacher from Augusta County Public School System. Survivors include her husband, John W. Trissel, Jr.; one son, Chase Trissel and wife Leslie; three brothers, Randall Switzer and wife Joyce, Lyndall Switzer and wife Kathie, Kent Switzer and wife Beth; one sister, Linda Langlinais; one grandaughter, Hayden Trissel, as well as a number nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Springdale Mennonite Church, 170 Hall School Rd., Waynesboro with Pastors Jerry Steele and Dwayne Gingerich officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
