She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching and quilting, sharing these talents with her family through her personalized homemade Christmas stockings. A seamstress by trade, her talents were also shared through making dresses and clothing for her family. Louise also enjoyed the outdoors by fishing in her younger years, tending to her flower garden, and watching and feeding the birds. Faith and family were the two biggest passions of her life. She cherished her faith in Jesus Christ and cherished time spent with her loved ones. She was a devoted attendee of St. Therese Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland, with visitation from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Louise will be laid to rest at Hooker Cemetery in Leighton Township, Michigan. In memory of Louise and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church.
