Jennene Kelly

Jennene Renee Kelly, age 44, passed away on July 18, 2020 while surrounded by her family at home. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Annetta Kelly; maternal grandparents Darrell and Virginia Powers; uncle, Joseph Kelly; and her sister, Bernadette Kelly. She will be deeply missed by her parents Terry Sr. and Cathy Kelly; her siblings Terry Kelly II, Sarah Kelly; nephew, Terry Kelly III; niece, Caitlyn Kelly; her crazy aunties Donnean Slaughter and Lori Edwards; adopted brother, Chad Levalley and his family; and many extended family and friends.

Jennene had many hobbies and likes, some of which included her favorite color, purple, the Detroit Tigers, Notre Dame, baby dolls and fishing at her favorite vacation spot in Baldwin, MI. She also enjoyed making friends at Special Friends in Moline. She also had a love for classic cars; she would often color very detailed pictures and have them posted all over the house. Most importantly, she loved her family and her family loved her. She will be missed.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland, MI 49348. There will be a rosary at 7:45 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 23 at St. Therese Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Jennene will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery.
