He enjoyed golfing, spending time with family, watching the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines, and traveling. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a medic during the Korean Conflict.
He will be deeply missed by his children Karen Clay, Fred (Karen) Mulder, Jim Mulder; grandchildren Kevin (Taylor Walters) Clay, Ryan (Holly) Clay, Haley Mulder, Hannah Bowker, Haylee Bowker; great-grandchildren William Mulder, Arlo Jackson, Lyla Goetterman, and Johnathon Clay; and extended family and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife beloved wife, Marcella Mulder and parents Ben and Ann Mulder.
A celebration of Fred's life will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Windsor Woods Clubhouse, 1135 W. Superior St., Wayland MI 49348. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.kubiakcookwayland.com in Fred’s online guest book.
