Elaine Schmidt, age 66 of Dorr, passed away January 20, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley & Cleota (Fisher) Schmidt. She will be remembered by her children: Todd Schmidt and Tracey Schmidt; her grandchildren: Kelsey Schmidt, Cody Schmidt, and Kylee Schmidt; her sister Lori Schmidt; and other extended family and friends. Elaine previously was a waitress at the Byron Center Hotel Restaurant for over 20 years. She also was a cashier at Fifelski's Service Station in downtown Dorr for many years. Friends may visit with her family at a gathering and memorial service, January 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM, at the United Church of Wayland.
