Dorothy M. Watson, age 97, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred T. Watson; son, Alfred Watson Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Wright. She is survived by her children Margaret (Mike) Ignatoski, Cliff Watson, Patricia (Terry) Morbach, Mary (Bruce) Ritsema, Mark Watson, John (Jenifer) Watson, Don (Gloria) Watson, and Randy Wright; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, the Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323. A Funeral Mass will be held 12 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023 at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland, MI 49348, with visitation from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Dorothy, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Foundation.
