Dick Kroon, age 97, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his children Orrin Kroon and Sandy Popma; parents Dick and Gerty Kroon; older sisters Henrietta Hamm, Anne Lubben-Prins, Martha Brouwer, Adrianna Hamm-Swanson; brothers Jake Kroon, and Rev. John (Rena Mae) Kroon.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 72 years, Hazel Kroon; children Rick Kroon, Dallas (Jennifer) Kroon; son-in-law, Douglas Popma; grandchildren Jason (Suzanne) Popma, Jessica (Dan) Koorndyk, Travis (Maria) Popma, Lucas Kroon, Grace Kroon, Maya Kroon; great-grandchildren Brecken, Rogen, Lakelyn, Landon, Cynthia, Karli, Kennedy, River; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Dick will be held 12 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, with an hour of visitation prior, at Zutphen CRC, 3223 40th Ave., Hudsonville, Michigan 49426.
