She was born December 3, 1935 to George and Amelia Gillette. She married her love, Floyd Taylor, in 1953.
She is survived by her son, Craig Taylor; daughter, Merrilee-Darrell Slawson; grandchildren Steve-Mirella Slawson, Stephanie-Jacob Wrisley, Joshua Turcott; great-grandchildren Channing Dobbs, Jace and Ava Slawson; and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Taylor; son, Jerry Taylor; parents George and Amelia Gillette; sister, Carolyn Keech; and grandsons Michael Slawson and Jeremy Taylor.
Beverly was a lifelong member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church where she taught CCD for many years. She was the Wayland Township Clerk for 20 years. She loved reading, knitting and crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, her afternoon soap, and spending time with her loved ones and friends. She really enjoyed eating dinner with her family at the Blue Dragon restaurant in Caledonia.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Beverly’s family asks that flowers not be sent. There will be an intimate graveside service held at a date to be determined.
