Waterville - On July 22nd 2017, Jeannine King left this earth to continue on a new journey in the ever after. She was a resident of Mt. St Joseph Nursing Home for 3 years. She was born Jeannine Shirley Veilleux on October 6, 1935 in Waterville. The youngest of 12 children born to Peter and Roseanne Veilleux, she had a large family of aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters as well as several nephews and a niece. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arnold King and their son, Wayne King.
Those she left behind are her significant other, William Barden of Maine; daughters Donna Heisterman and her husband, Timothy of Maine; Wendy Bingaman and her significant other, Brent, and a son James of New Hampshire. Also surviving her are two sisters: Bertha Bolduc of Arizona; Lorraine Zelenkewich of Connecticut; her grandchildren: Anthony, Shannon, Michael Jr., Shirlee, Justin, Amanda, Nicolas, Abigail, Jordan and Bradley. Of these grandchildren she has several great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law: Barbara Marino of Florida and Juanita Veilleux of California, and one brother- in- law: Richard Sack II.
She worked for many years at the local hospitals and made a lot of friends throughout her life. Friendly and helpful to all, she loved to sing and dance and cook. She enjoyed travelling and spent many years doing this with her significant other, Bill.
Thank you to the caring staff at Mount Saint Joseph. Jeannine will be missed greatly and will be remembered with much love.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Monday July 31, 2017 at 11:00 am at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 110 Silver Street, Waterville with burial following in Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove Street, Waterville.
