Philip worked for Sabrett Hot Dogs, in the Bronx, as a driver and in the plant. He proudly served his country in the armed forces during the Vietnam War.
Philip is survived by his loving sister, Helen Campbell of Sayville, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He was previously deceased by his brothers, John King and Joseph King, and sisters, Mary Johnson, Rita Kemp, and Ann Swezey.
Philip was the youngest child of seven. As such, he developed a cherished relationship among his siblings, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was often referred to as the comedian of the family. His sense of humor and wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be on Friday Oct 19, from 4-8pm at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday Oct. 20TH . 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville. Private cremation to follow.
