Kaitlyn P. McBride

Kaitlyn was born in the Bronx on April 10, 1990 to Steven D. and Kathy Cody McBride. Kaitlyn was a student at Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. Kaitlyn was a 2008 graduate of Washingtonville High School. She was affectionately known as “Mic” by soccer teammates past and present. Kaitlyn was a former member of the Washingtonville Varsity Soccer Team as well as a member of the Mansfield Woman’s Soccer Team. Kaitlyn was extremely passionate about soccer and her music.

She was a loving daughter and granddaughter as well as an adoring sister, niece and cousin who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Kaitlyn is survived by her parents Steven D. and Kathy McBride of Washingtonville, NY; Grandfather John P. Cody of Seldon, NY; brother Matthew J. McBride and sister Annie C. McBride both of Washingtonville; aunts and uncles Joseph McBride of Queens, NY, Marianne and her husband Martin Costello of Seldon, NY, Patricia and her husband Peter Nunes of Washingtonville, NY and John and his wife Ann Cody of Patterson, NY; cousins Joseph, Tim, Brian, Colleen, Jack, Brendan, Claire and Alicia and her two cats Wilson and Mitch, as well as her entire extended family. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4-8PM at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY 10992, (845) 496-9106. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, 10AM at St. Mary’s Church, Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.
