"Gordie", was one of the best guys when he went to F&M College. Treated everyone was well. We are all so sorry to hear he passed away. He ended getting back involved with the fellas after many years apart. He will be sorely missed. Gordie thanks for being a kind sole! God Bless!!

I just found out about the passing of Mike today and am deeply shocked. He and I used to joke around all the time when we worked together at Spaulding & Slye. My favorite nickname for him was Barney Rubble. The last time I saw Mike he had come to visit one of our executives at Clark and he had asked our receptionist about me. I immediately ran up to see him and gave him the biggest hug. I will truly miss him. He was a joy to work with.

I was very saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Mike was an integral cog in our Construction business at Spaulding & Slye. His skills helped take our modest interior construction business to the "next level". I will always appreciate Mike's drive and commitment to his work and our company.

I am so saddened by the untimely loss of Mike. The Reynolds and Howell families went way back, sharing many happy times at our homes in Nags Head in the 70s. I will always cherish those times and Mike’s kindness through the years.

Oh, I am just so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I am sending my love and sympathy to his family and his many friends.

I had the pleasure of playing rugby with and rooming with Gordy at UF (1987&1988). He was a great hooker and a great friend. God bless his soul.

I started playing rugby at UF in '89, after Gordy stopped so only got to know him in brief alumni encounters.  What I remember most is just his name embedded in fun, epic stories.  "Gordy" has legendary connotations!
