Your parents welcomed the Smiths to the Washington DC Area in 1974. We renewed our friendship at that time. We frequently saw each other at social gatherings.  I last saw your mother at our granddaughters graduation from the Washington Lab School in 2013. I will our miss our telephone conversations.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Aunt Mattie, I will always remember our long talks that were full of good advise, your caring and loving heart, your wonderful desserts but most of all your love and support.  Audrey and Pam- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss.  I hope as time goes by, you find comfort in the special memories that you created with your mother over the years.  May the memories that you cherish live forever in you hearts.

Although I had only a brief  acquaintance with Mrs Bracey, I found her to be a sweet and gracious lady, I am so very sorry for your loss.
