David Wayne Hudgens

David was born on October 11,1957 in Russellville, Kentucky. David graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy and attended the University of Tennessee where he studied Architecture. David started in business building residential pools with a pickup truck and a wheel barrel. He later expanded into commercial pools and buildings which led to the establishment of his business, Accu-Crete in 1980. He won a contract with a prominent national developer and then went on to build a major concrete construction company that operated up and down the east coast and out into the mid west. David was the CEO of Accu-Crete for 42 years..

David traveled the world. He renovated historic Washington, DC real estate. He loved art, music, and barbeque. He always had many stories to tell.

David is survived by his daughter, five sisters, and eight nieces and nephews.

A morning visitation for David will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Christ Church, 3116 O Street NW, Washington, DC 20007, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM.
