She attended Trinity College in Washington, DC for her undergraduate degree and the University of Maryland for her master’s degree. Anne’s passion, whether in or out of school, was to continuously learn and better her mind.
Anne enjoyed travel, politics, current events, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved time at Plum Point on the Chesapeake Bay where her parents bought a summer cottage in 1943 and where her daughter now resides. It was here that she and her six siblings learned to water ski behind her dad’s Chris Craft Ski King, catch spot and bluefish, walk the beach in search of shark’s teeth and picnic at Parker’s Creek. This legacy she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Anne was a strong, resilient, fun loving, well-balanced women with a thirst for bettering herself and helping others. She was passionate about social justice and equal rights, especially for women. Her Catholic faith was her comfort and joy throughout her life.
