Alberto Martinez Piedra

On Monday, December 20, 2020, Alberto Martinez-Piedra, 95, a loving husband, father, scholar, diplomat, and Christian gentleman, passed away in Bethesda, Maryland surrounded by family and friends. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Edita Enriquez de Martinez-Piedra. He is survived by his five children and 14 grandchildren, Alberto Martinez-Piedra, Javier Martinez-Piedra, Pedro Martinez-Piedra, Edita Martinez-Piedra Robinson, Conchita Martinez-Piedra Heffron and his fourteen grandchildren: Edita Maria, Colin James, Pedro, Nicolas, Alix, Andrew, Alexander, Isabel, Maximilian, Anna, Katarina, Gordon, Cameron and Isabel. Special thanks need to be given to his aides, Morena, Cristina, Marta, and Gabriela, who loved him and cared for him until the end. We will be forever grateful to all of you. There will be a funeral mass at The Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, Maryland at 10 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
