Virginia M. Paiva

She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis L. Paiva and daughter of the late Vincent and Gertrude (Frazier) Bonner.

Virginia was employed by The City of Cranston for many years before her retirement. She was a former parishioner at Assumption Church in Providence and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick Church in Providence.

She is survived by her children: Margaret Richmond, Robert Lawton (spouse Lisa), Steven Lawton (spouse Kerry Kasegian) and Virginia “Ginger” Lawton, a brother: Jean Bonner, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Virginia was the sister of the late Vincent Bonner and Patricia Malo.

Visitation Friday, 4-7 pm at the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home located at 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. There will be a Rosary Friday night followed by The Divine Mercy Chaplet at Virginia’s request. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick Church 244 Smith St., Providence.
