Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Sutkaitis) Gudeczauskas.
She is survived by her children, Todd Varatta of Foster, RI and Kelly Varatta and her partner Marco Delvecchio of North Port, FL; her brother-in-law Thomas Varatta Sr. of Chepachet; and sister-in-law Camille Casey of Cranston. She also leaves many family members and friends she cherished. She was the sister of the late Michael T. and Patricia Gudeczauskas.
Paula worked at Marshall & Williams Plastic Manufacturing Co. in Providence as the Office Manager for many years before retiring to Florida. She loved reading, history, politics, cooking and animals especially her two cats, Scooter and Olive. She showed unconditional love to all who knew her and was a Mom to many. She was a gentle woman who truly had a heart of gold. Her family and dear friends were her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston.
