Robert “Bobby” C. Tannock, age 65, of Warren, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished husband of Rose Ann (Alves) Tannock, with whom he shared 12 years of marriage.
Born in Providence, Bobby was the beloved son of the late Ronald and Evelyn (Baldiassare) Tannock. Alongside his brothers, he dedicated much of his life to the family business, Dun-Rite Asphalt, which he helped run since his teenage years. During slower periods, he also worked as a machinist for Speidel and later at Royal Diversified Products, Inc.
A passionate Boston Red Sox fan, Bobby had a love for bowling and traveling, particularly to Las Vegas. His greatest joy came from spending quality time with his family, creating cherished memories together.
Along with his wife, survivors include his step-children: Julianne Nicholson and Kurtis Chubbuck and his companion Amanda; his grandchildren: Sarah, Matthew, Makenzie and Elijah; his siblings: Ronald G. Tannock of Warren, Deborah Angelone and her husband Alan of Bristol, Garry Tannock of Warren and Laura Moore and her husband John of Rehoboth; nieces and nephews: Alison, Jilian and Gregory Angelone and Ashley Daniels.
His visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Wilbur Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren.
