Rebecca B. DeCristoforo

Rebecca B. (Zompa) DeCristoforo, “Becky,” of Barrington, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Oakhill Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 78. She was the wife of Anthony C. DeCristoforo to whom she had been married for the past 54 years.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Albert and Rose (D’Allessandro) Zompa, she lived in Rumford prior to moving to Barrington 40 years ago.

A graduate of Barrington High School, Class of 1963, she worked as a secretary at Lisa & Sousa, Ltd for many years. She was an avid gardener and reader, and enjoyed her book club and wine tasting with her many friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Anthony J. DeCristoforo and Joseph M. DeCristoforo both of Riverside, RI; two beloved grandchildren, Anthony N. DeCristoforo of Riverside, RI and Mya LuLu Feijo-DeCristoforo of Valdosta, GA; two brothers, John Zompa and his wife Denise of Sandwich MA, Albert Zompa of Cranston; and three sisters, Barbara and her husband Ron Harrison, twins Joan and Judy Zompa and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements are in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, Warren, Rhode Island.
