Carlos C. Rosa

Born in Portugal, on April 4, 1935, he was the son of the late Carlos C. and Anna (Bispo) Rosa.

Mr. Rosa had worked as an assembler for American Tourister for 18 years, retiring in 2004. He also worked for 12 years as a machine operator at Royal Chain. Mr. Rosa enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons Gil Rosa of Seekonk, MA, and Joseph Rosa of Rumford, RI, a daughter Nelia Brinkman of Rumford, RI, a brother Manuel Rosa of Canada, a sister Roslina deSousa of Portugal, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Joseph Rosa, Mariajo Carvalho, and Orselena Caetano.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 9:00 am, from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Metacomet Avenue, Warren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011, from 4-8pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
