Susan Kay Smith

Susan Kay Smith (nee: Allevato), age 52, passed away peacefully at her parents' home surrounded by family and friends on September 23, 2012. She was born March 5, 1960 in Detroit the daughter of Anthony and Clara (nee: Bilotta) Allevato. Loving wife of Steve Smith. Dear mother of Angela Pelione and Gina Pelione. Grandmother of Chance Anthony. Daughter of Anthony and Clara Allevato of Warren. Also survived by her step children, David Smith, Stephanie Smith, and Gina (Tommy) Riechling. Step grandchildren, Mia Bella, Kaleb, and Rylee. She is predeceased by her brother, Michael Anthony Allevato; grandparents, Joseph and Angeline Allevato of St. Clair Shores and Joseph and Mary Bilotta of Fairmont, West Virginia. Visitation for Susan will be held Wednesday 5-9 pm and Thursday 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Her funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Officiating her funeral service will be Pastor Bob Harvey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
