Stephen Edward Jenkins

Stephen Edward Jenkins, age 58, of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away on March 6, 2022. Steve was born on February 26, 1964, in Mt. Clemens, to his loving parents the late James and Peggy Jenkins.

Steve was a man of many passions and talents. He loved to spend time in the kitchen or manning the BBQ. Creating amazing meals for those he loved, was a trait he inherited from his Mother. His love and appreciation for music was life long. Steve was a talented guitarist/singer and a music trivia aficionado. We must also mention he acquired so many Fantasy Football Championships, he was banned from several leagues. Steve was a sharp dressed man and could out shop his girls and wife. Everyone that knew him will miss his kind nature and his great sense of humor.

Steve was an experienced Tooling Manager and Die Maker of 40 years whose attention to intricate details amazed many. He had a talent in this field that many will never acquire, yet he was humble. Steve had a great group of guys on his Team and was very proud to be working with Fisher Dynamics. He was an extremely hard worker, but when the weekend came around he enjoyed his cottage in Hale, MI on Long Lake.

Steve is the beloved husband of 8 years of Wendy. The treasured father of Candace (Duane Vanacker) Antos, Devin (Cari Sue Murphy) Jenkins, the late Tyler Jenkins, the late Noah Jenkins, and the late Marissa Jenkins; step father of Taylor (Mitchell) Ickes, Shelby (Bill) Zawalski, and Lauren (Austin Winchester) Schwartz. Cherished Thunderpa of Cash Antos, Memphis Antos, Peyton Zawalski, Reagan Zawalski, and future Baby Ickes. He is the caring brother of Laurie (the late Eric) Paul, Shorty (Paul) Martin, and Donald (Renee) Jenkins. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family greatly appreciates any donations made to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, specifically the Ewings Sarcoma cancer type.

A visitation for Steve will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. In state will occur Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088.
