Born in Detroit to Janice and the late Lawrence Rodic, Sherri loved spending time with her friends and family more than anything. Sherri and her husband Mike met at Skate World when they were both teenagers roller skating with friends, little did they know when they met that they would one day be bringing their kids back to go roller skating as a family. As their kids were growing up, they enjoyed trips to Sherri’s dad’s home by Lake St. Clair to go fishing and laying by the water. Sherri loved road trips and her daughter Mea’s BMX racing competitions allowed everyone to come along on road trips all over the U.S.. Sometimes they would run into their friends or their children’s friends and they would end the road trip with more people than they started with. They cherished the time in the car driving to the races gave them, giving them the opportunity to have the quality time to talk about anything and everything that came to mind on the open road. When they got home, Sherri loved to cuddle up with one of her beloved cats and her daughters never missed a chance to go to Arts, Beats, and Eats in Pontiac together. Wherever she went, she always made sure to let her friends back home know what latest adventure she was on or what she was doing around town.
