Born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Dwight and Violette Barr, Maureen will be remembered for her loving and caring nature she had throughout her life. Although Maureen had a family who she loved, any friend of Maureen’s was also considered family. Everyone in Maureen’s life knew her as their grandma because she lived to take care of others; she especially loved not only her children but also all children. Devoted in her faith, Maureen was a member of Warren Woods Baptist Church. In her free time, throughout her life Maureen collected frogs and she had quite the collection in her house of frogs of all sizes. Then she went on to collect cardinals and eagles. Maureen couldn’t help but notice there were two cardinals that could always be found fluttering around in her yard.
