

Margaret Ann Neumann (nee: Brazen), known more affectionately to all as Margie and a longtime resident of Warren, died at the age of 90 on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren. Margaret was born April 4, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Frank Brazen and the late Edna (nee: Guoin) Brazen.Margaret was raised in Detroit and later went to work for the United Auto Workers Union at the Solidarity House in Detroit. Margaret worked and served the union as an executive secretary where her responsibilities involved wearing many different hats from seating the delegates to arranging many of the union events.Margaret eventually settled in Warren where she and her daughter tended to their home, both inside and out, to include the painstaking efforts in adding to the beauty of their landscaping. Margaret was devoted to her church and devout in her faith. She spent many hours at the church volunteering and also serving on the Altar Society. Additionally, following her retirement, she served as a mentor to children teaching and reading in the Fitzgerald school district. She was raised and lived her life with a charitable heart,...and in giving she received so much love in return from both her family and all in whom she met.Mrs. Neumann is survived by her daughter, Dr. Rachelle Neumann, and four generations of nieces and nephews who loved her greatly. Margaret is predeceased by her spouse Ralph Anthony Neumann. She was the loving daughter to her parents Frank and Edna Brazen. Her siblings who passed before her, in the order of their date of birth, are as follows: Lester Brazen, Fritz Brazen, Henry Brazen, Harold (Dutch) Brazen, and Shirley Zgol. Margaret was also the proud owner of Rory the dog.Visitation for Mrs. Neumann will be held Tuesday, April 5th from 3-9pm, with a 6:30 pm Scripture Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ mile) in Warren. Mrs. Neumann will lie in state on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church - St. Dorothy Campus, 12255 Frazho Road in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Fr.
