Our Dad was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. He was an amazing husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather. John’s story starts on May 22, 1924, the oldest child to Walter and Helen. John was born in Detroit and moved his family to a brand-new home in Warren where he raised his family. He was a very hard worker. His career included being a Sargent in the Marines where he repaired planes and smoke house salesmen with his cousin. He also continued his career by trouble shooting and repairing machines. He was extremely talented and could make or fix anything. He loved being with his family and taking vacations up north to Indian River and spent many days on Mullet Lake. Fishing was he passion that he shared with his wife, children, and other family members. His greatest joy was catching fish and bring it back to the cabin to clean it and fry it for his family which was the best fish you will ever have. He will forever be in our hearts.
John was the beloved husband of the late Lillian. Loving father of Lillian (Scot) Pardo, John (the late Linda) Novinski, Jr., Anthony (the late Toni K.) Novinski, Patricia (David) Allen, and Tracy (Shelly) Novinski. Cherished grandfather of Eric (Katy) Pardo, Troy Pardo, Neal Pardo, Nicole Novinski, Amber (David) Dunlop, Alicia Novinski, Mitch Allen, Wayne Allen, Victoria (Ryan) Rippin, Brittanry (Shannon) Serra, and Candace Novinski. Adored great-grandfather of 15. Dear brother of the late Walter Novinski.
John will lie In State Saturday, September 18th at 10:30am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Faustina Catholic Church,14025 Twelve Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
