Evelyn Hill

Born in Detroit, on April 27th, 1929, to the late Wallace and Agnes Eggert, Evelyn loved her family more than anything and cherished being a mom, grandma, and great-grandma. When her kids were growing up, in the summer her and her beloved husband Vincent would take the family on vacations to lakes throughout Michigan. In their free time Evelyn and Vincent would often get together with friends and family to play cards and share a few laughs. Evelyn was on a bowling league for many years and also enjoyed playing bingo with her sisters whom she stayed close to throughout life.

Beloved wife of the late Vincent for over 30 years. Loving mother of Sherrie (Jeff Johnson) Couwlier, Lori (Donald) Jones and Duane Hill. Cherished grandma of Jason Couwlier, Shannon Couwlier, Heather (Jason) Hart, and Dylan Johnson. Caring great-grandma of Jaylie, Jager, and Haisley. Dear sister of David (Marcia) Eggert, the late Marion Eggert, and the late Edith (the late James) Robb. Also survived by nieces, nephews, many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation Tuesday, November 29th from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088. Burial to take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Memorial donations to Special Olympics Michigan, 160 68th Street SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548, are appreciated.
