Ed was the kindest person most of us could ever know and will be dearly missed by family and friends. He was the guy who would stop to change your tire, then buy you lunch afterward because he knew you were having a bad day. His kindness, generosity & mischievous spirit touched so many lives. He just wanted people to be good to each other, & went out of his way to be friendly to all. He was incredibly proud of his children & grandchildren, and always ended conversations with 'I love you today,' or 'You make me rich.' He valued the simple things in life & hated technology with a passion because he preferred face to face interaction & wanted to make people smile. He was an avid toy collector & antique car enthusiast, & was really just a big kid himself! He loved cats and took care of many local feral colonies, along with a few raccoons & skunks too! Ed was fiercely patriotic, and a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Edward is the beloved father of Marnie (Michael) Kopytek and Aaron (Carly) Hall. The cherished grandfather of Katherine Kopytek, Evan Kopytek, Carter Hall, and Elva Hall. Dear brother of Vicki Porter and Marjorie Fante. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers any donations made in his memory to the local homeless animal shelter 4paws1heart.org , would be greatly appreciated.
