Born to parents Marshall Lemanski and Geraldine Pawloski, Carolyn was the second of three daughters to be born in the Lemanski family. After graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1972, Carolyn went on to live her life to the fullest. She met the love of her life, Phillip Wolak, in 1981, and eventually married in 1985. In 1988 the Wolak family welcomed their son, Keith, into the world. After forty years of dedicated service to the hospitality and clerical-work fields, Carolyn retired from working in 2012. During this time, she made many life-long friendships. One of Carolyn’s favorite things was baseball, specifically watching the Detroit Tigers play. Some would even consider her a die-hard fan. Even more so though, Carolyn enjoyed supporting both Phil and Keith’s sporting events the most. Carolyn also enjoyed having breakfast with her sisters Lyn and Lori. The ending of a perfect day for Carolyn was to put her feet up, turn on the Tigers game, and enjoy an ice cold Corona (with extra limes of course) with the company of her dog, Mojo. Carolyn was a kind soul, whose memory will be cherished for the many years to come.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Phil Wolak; cherished son, Keith (Melissa) Wolak; and her sisters, Lyn (Richard) Breen and Lori Brasfield. She was also the loving aunt, and even great aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews.
