Carlton Jason Taylor

Carlton Jason Taylor, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born on July 15, 1972, in Rota, Spain, he was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and infectious spirit.

Jason proudly served in the United States Army from 1992 to 1994, a period that instilled in him a sense of duty and camaraderie. After his service, he pursued his passion for music as a DJ. Whether he was spinning records at local venues or belting out his favorite tunes at karaoke nights, Jason always had an enthusiasm for music.

A devoted sports fan, Jason cheered tirelessly for the Detroit Lions, never missing a game, and his loyalty to Detroit sports was matched only by his love for horror movies and video games on his PS5. Jason will be remembered for his kind heart, vibrant personality, and unwavering loyalty.

Jason was the beloved son of the late Colleen (Thomas Tharrington) and the late Carlton Taylor. Loving brother of Courtney (Tom) Taylor and Michael Taylor. Adored uncle of Jenna Taylor, Zachary Berry, and Elijah Berry. Dear cousin of Lisa Baker, Lois Eaton, and Deb Rogers. Cherished friend of Bridgette Babb, Michael Babb, Mary Abela, Michael Tennant, and Diane Dick. Jason's friendships lasted for over 20 years and will be missed by the many friends he had all over the United States.

A Private Family Service will be held for Jason at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
