Agnes Margaret Morawski, age 93 of Eastpointe, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at The Rivers Grosse Pointe. She was born February 15, 1925 in Detroit, daughter of the late Triphon Knudde and the late Rachel (nee: Vercamer) Knudde.A loving homemaker and Mom, Agnes lived for the joys of family and doting on them was at the top priority on each and every day's agenda. Just a sweet, very simple, and old-fashioned lady, Agnes was raised on the traditions where family is #1 and a Mom's job is to hold it all together in love,…and that she did from the depths of her heart. She loved sharing the values that keep a family strong, and poured the best parts of herself into nurturing the lives entrusted to her care. When her family was taken care of, the next place Agnes went to pour out a portion of her tender-loving-care was the garden. Possessing a green thumb and the care & knowledge of a horticulturist, Agnes took great pride in her yard and in the proliferation of her garden. She toiled with great diligence to make it the thing of beauty it was, and there've been many who have looked on over the years and appreciated the nurturing become life in Agnes' Garden. She was the artist, the soil was her canvass, and each flower formed a gallery for all to enjoy.Though her golden years ushered in a bit of change and mellowing as time went on, there was just a chuckle or two enjoyed when her boys shared how (back in the day) Agnes used to come to the dinner table with an ice-cold Miller Lite to wash things down. It was just one of those traditions that she held to with a passion. Yet her greatest passion belonged to family. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she gave unselfishly and unconditionally with a love that permeated the hearts and souls of her loved ones,…as well as that which was poured out to all who were blessed to know this wonderful lady. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Thomas. Dear mother of Thomas (Sharon) Morawski, and Jerry (Angelika) Morawski. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey, Matthew (Sarah), Carolyn, Kayla (Daniel) Nyselius, and Kimberly. Great grandmother of Nathan, Addison, William, and Jack.
