Patricia Nell Fisher

Patricia was born July 7, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by Fred L. Goodspeed, Edwin L. Fisher, daughter, Susan Denise Goodspeed; grandson, Rickey F. Niner, Jr. She leaves behind her children, Fred L. Goodspeed, Jr., John D. Goodspeed (Kathy); Kay Lynn Niner-Lagasse (Clay); granddaughter Amber Robles (Tony); great grandchildren, Brendon and Riley Niner, Kaylee, Alyssa, and Aiden Robles, and many devoted friends and church family.

At an early age, Patricia professed her faith in Jesus Christ, and was a member of Forest Heights Baptist Church in Oxon Hill, Maryland, where she served faithfully, and taught Sunday school into her late eighties. She was loved by many, and will be remembered lovingly by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. She was happiest surrounded by family and her faithful friends. She and several friends were referred to as the “Golden Girls” and loved having their hair done, having lunch, and shopping.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Rd, Waldorf, MD. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 12, 2016 beginning at 11am at Forest Heights Baptist Church, 6371 Oxon Hill Road Oxon Hill, MD. Contributions may be made in Patricia’s honor to Forest Heights Baptist Church.
