The deeply loved, Carol Ann Sager, aged 56, of Waldorf, Maryland passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was born on February 17, 1955 to Irene and the late Lyle Blade. Lyle and Irene had four children total; Rhoda, Mark, Carol and Gail. She was a loving wife to her caring husband, Jeffrey Sager, who she had been married to for an unforgettable 35 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children; her son Ryan 28 and her daughter Melissa, 24. She dedicated her life contributing to Melissa's and Ryan's success and accomplishments. The pride she felt as a mother was exponential and she was unyielding as a supportive wife. A woman defined by her strength and intelligence, Carol made a lasting impact at Fort Washington Medical Center as the Lab Director, where she embraced and exceled at not only her job but by creating deep, lasting friendships with her coworkers. These qualities remain as the epitome of who Carol is, even after life. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 28th. from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at Forest Park Baptist Church in Waldorf, Maryland. In lieu of flowers would appreciate donations made to the American Brain Tumor Association in memory of Carol A. Sager.
