We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and Papa and friend Ralph Rodriguez. He died at the age of 79 on November 21, 2022. Ralph passed peacefully with loved ones by his side and joined our Heavenly Father and preceded loved ones in Heaven. There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial.
Ralph Rodriguez was born in Waco on August 24, 1943 to John and Consuelo Rodriguez. Ralph married Dominga Yglecias and they have been married for 47 glorious years. He joined the United States Air Force after graduating Waco High. Upon exiting the military Ralph was a nursing assistant at the Waco Veterans Hospital in the Psychiatric Ward for over 35 years where he retired.
Ralph loved being outdoors and enjoyed going on family adventures. He loved fishing, camping, star gazing, movies and just spending time with his family. He was a long term member of the Waco Missions. Ralph attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joe Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez and sisters, Mary Rodriguez and Irene Calderon.
Survivors include his wife Dominga Rodriguez, step children Rose and Jerry Smart, Richard and Evette Almanza, Michael and Rhonda Almanza and Linda and Blake Almanza, grandchildren Mark Castillo, Jacob and Destinee Castillo, Joshua Castillo, grandchild Leland Almanza and great grandchild, Noah Castillo, sisters Lupe Carmona, Gloria Ables and Rebecca Schoonover along with other grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
