Margaret (Rangel) Padilla

Mrs. Padilla was born on February 23, 1932 in Ennis, Texas to Jose and Josefina (Carrizales) Rangel. She married Willie Padilla on April 24, 1949 in Waco and they celebrated over 50 wonderful years together until his death on March 19, 2000. Mrs. Padilla loved to work in her flower beds, shop, jewelry, her dog, Chiquita but her true love was her family. She was a member of Saint Francis Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Guadalupanas. Mrs. Padilla worked for Marathon and Saint Francis day care for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Reuben Padilla, brothers; Martin Rangel, Louis Rangel and Tony Joe Rangel and sisters; Pilar Castillo and Mary Ordonez.

Survivors include her daughters; Rose Miller and Irene Carrizales, son; Robert Padilla and Willie Padilla, Jr., brother, Manuel Rangel, sisters; Betty Olvera, Santos Garza, Janie Valdez and Ramona Rangel, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
