Christopher Scott Farris (Scotty) passed away in Paris, Texas on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the age of 43. Born in Waco, Texas on December 28,1980, to Troy Farris and Jessie Lee (Walts) Young. Scotty grew up in Waco and attended Waco Schools.
On January 1, 2011, Scotty married Ashley (Eakin), and together they welcome their twins, Trenton Lee and Shelbie Elizabeth, on September 19, 2006. The family made a home in Woodway, TX. Scotty developed an interest in truck driving, seeking guidance from his brother-in-law, Robert Horton and father –in-law. His journey led him to East Penn Manufacturing, where he found not only a career but a second family.
In 2020, Scotty faced head and neck cancer with resilience, supported by his love ones and work family. He emerged victorious and went into remission, embodying strength and perseverance. Known for his generosity. Scotty would go to great lengths to help others, even strangers. His commitment to his family was unwavering, evident in his sacrifices and dedication to providing for them.
Tragically, Scotty’s life was cut short while doing what he did best providing for his family. His legacy lives on through his 17 years old twins, whom he guided towards greatness. Family was Scotty’s greatest joy, and he cherished every moment with his wife, Ashley, and their children.
Survived by his wife of 12 years, Ashley Farris, and children Trenton Lee and Shelbie Elizabeth. Scotty also leaves behind siblings David and Jennifer Hutsonpillar of Essex Junction, VT. Kenna and Robert Horton of Lorena, TX. Pamela and Steven Chavez of Lorena, TX. Aaron and Alissa Farris, Aleah and Dorothy Farris (Step Mother) all of Belton and numerous in law siblings, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and “adopted” children he loved like his own. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee (Walts) Young and Troy Farris, sister Karen King, and his beloved in laws, Billy Eakin and Debora Eakin.
Christopher Scott Farris will remembered for his enduring spirit, love for family, and the positive impact he had on everyone he encountered.
