Phillip R. Cobb, Sr., 62, was born January 25, 1958 in Huntsville, AL and passed away on April 1, 2020. A Godly man, he was a member of Praise Church in Leesville, SC and a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a self-employed roofer who was the owner of D&P Roofing, Gilbert, SC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Cobb; daughters, Whitney Cobb-Delp and Heather Cobb Wade of VA; sons, Phillip Cobb, Jr., Kyle Cobb, Sr. and M. Shane Burdell; 14 grandchildren: Alayna Delp, Raylynn McCormick, Madelynn McCormick, Olivia Wade, Kyle Cobb, Jr., Kaleb Cobb, Klay Cobb, Karolina Cobb, Katie Cobb, Kameron Cobb, Kendall Cobb, Maximus Burdell, Alexis Burdell, Michael Burdell, Jr.; father, Ray Cobb of AL; sisters, Janice Trostel of TN, Brenda Harper of AL, Carol Hoffstetter of AL; brothers, Danny Cobb of AL and George Romans, Jr. of VA. He was predeceased by his mother, Daisy Bruce Iriel and stepmother, Jean Cobb.
A private graveside service will be held Monday, April 6, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. The family is accepting flowers, and memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish America.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
