WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Mary Lavon Caudill (Greene), 81 of Winnsboro, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mary was born August 1, 1935 in Fleetwood, NC and passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. She was a daughter of the late, Fred O. Trivette and Carrie Moretz Trivette. Mary loved and talked to her parrots, Ralphy and Skippy, and even wrapped them up in washcloths to take naps with her. She talked to all animals. She also loved her family and was always concerned about her children and her brothers and sisters' health and finances. Also she wrote a check every month to give money to someone in need. She considered this her tithing money. She is survived by her children, Kaye Mallard (John), Debbie Barber (Don), Gene Greene (Lyn) and Nancy Greene; daughter-in-law Homa Greene; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Gwyn, Doris, Wayne, Ina and James. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Steven Greene; sister, Shirly Roupe.
