Christine was a very loving, caring, and hardworking woman. She was the owner of Vencill’s Concessions and Vencill’s Fireworks in Gaston, SC.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Kirby (Teresa), Scott Kirby (Pam), and James Vencill, Jr. (Sheena); her son, Steve Wingard; brothers, Hinnant (Wilma) Kirby, William (Annie) Kirby, and sister, Janice Mooney (Kirby), and ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Vencill, Sr.; her sons, Ray Kirby and Bennie Adams; and daughter, Becky K. Wingard.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at West Side Holiness Church, 527 Augusta Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens.
