Paul will be very much missed by his wife, Marlene, of 52 years; his two children, Dave and Patty; his son-in-law, Sean; and grandchildren, Christina, Carly and Nicholas. Paul cherished his family and was very proud of them. We all benefited from his love and wisdom.
Paul leaves behind a brother in New York, three sisters in Holland, and a sister in Canada. He is also survived by a large extended family and friends who will miss his presence and friendship.
Paul was born in British Guyana, South America and was the oldest of nine children. Paul was known for his dedication to family and hard work ethics. He excelled as a middle school teacher and shortly thereafter married his beautiful wife in 1966 and began a family. He pursued a career as a Registered Nurse in Toronto, Canada and then ran his own private business successfully for 12 years in California.
Paul was a very kind and giving person who loved working with his hands which was expressed through gardening and painting. He also enjoyed music, going to the ocean, and traveling. He will be missed very much and we will cherish the memories we have of him. He has been called home, where he will live eternally with God.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service in memory of Paul on Saturday April 20, 2019, at 1:00pm at Miller Memorial Chapel. 1120 W Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA 93291. (559) 732-8371.
