Mary J. Montero, age 89, of Visalia, California passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born October 20, 1932 and was the last surviving member of her parents, D. Garcia and Catalina Garcia's family.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Henry A. Montero in 2010, her daughter Catherine Montero Davis in 2017 and her son Daniel Montero in March of 2021.
Mary's surviving family includes her daughter, Rosemary Montero; her son, Michael J. Montero; granddaughters, Danika M. Aguirre and Kelsey R. Davis; grandson, Dylan M. Davis; son-in-law, Mick Davis and great-granddaughter, Aaliyah R. Aguirre who gave her Nana joy again.
She was the force and strength in all of our lives and she will be missed until we join her.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church 608 North Church Street, Visalia, California on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. followed with Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District.
